Media Consent and Release Policy
Photography, video, audio and other media captured during Construction Desert Schools

1. Scope
By registering for and participating in Construction Desert Schools (CDS), organised by SCPM Training and Consult L.L.C (SCPM), participants acknowledge that photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, interviews, livestreams and other media may be captured during training sessions, networking events, site visits, social activities and related programme experiences.
2. Permitted uses
Subject to any written choice or restriction agreed with SCPM, captured media may be edited, reproduced, published, displayed, distributed or archived for lawful promotional, educational, editorial, commercial and programme-related purposes, including:
• websites and landing pages;
• social-media platforms;
• marketing campaigns and advertisements;
• promotional videos and photography;
• press releases and media publications;
• event brochures, reports and presentations;
• future programme promotion;
• internal and external communications.
3. No compensation
No compensation, royalty or fee is payable for an authorised use of programme media unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
4. Participants who do not wish to appear
SCPM will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests. Complete exclusion cannot be guaranteed in incidental group photography, crowd footage or media captured in public event environments. Participants should also identify themselves to the programme team on arrival so that practical arrangements can be explained.
5. Responsible use
SCPM will use programme media in a manner intended to respect participant dignity, privacy and the professional nature of the programme. Requests concerning a specific published image or recording will be considered reasonably, taking account of prior publication, third-party distribution, legal obligations and legitimate programme records.
6. Release
To the extent permitted by law, participants release SCPM, its authorised representatives and contracted media providers from claims arising solely from authorised and lawful use of programme media under this policy. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
